Its been a long time since I updated my journal, so here's whats going on.

My friend Steve got married to his love Dawn yesterday. Congratulations to them and I wish them the best. It was a great time and I had a lot of fun even though there wasn't an open bar.

I'm not taking classes this summer so its been very laid back and chill. I've been hanging out with my best friend Joel a lot because I dont get to see him and his wife Nina very often while I'm in school (School is 3 hours away so I dont get back all that often).

I've been playing Oblivion a lot this last week since I got it. Its a great game and I love it. Its easier for me to keep playing games now that I'm on medication for A.D.D. Thats right, A.D.D., my doctor diagnosed it at the beginning of the summer after a few months of tests and stuff. I had to go see a Psychiatrist about it before my family doctor made the final decision to say that, yes, I have mild A.D.D. It really explains a LOT. I've always had trouble in school and getting bad grades just because I had trouble doing the classwork and HOMEWORK was the hardest. I'd totally forget I even had it until the minute it was due. I'd space out, have trouble paying attention, and because I dont have A.D.H.D. which are the kids that are bouncing off the walls, none of the teachers in school ever even noticed that maybe I might have A.D.D. So far things are way easier to do now that I can focus a little bit. The downside to the med? I cant drink a lot. The most I've had since starting this med is 2 beers in a night. Cant get drunk, but I think the benefit of being able to focus and accomplish things greatly outways not being able to drink.

I also put together a model of the Enterprise NX-01 from Star Trek Enterprise. There are pics in my Scraps collection as well as one in my regular gallery. Before taking the med for ADD I'd NEVER have been able to get that done. Believe me, I've tried to do about 4 models before but I could never get anywhere with them because I'd lose interest or just give up.

I also have been writing a novel. Its gotten a lot of praise from those who have read it, but its sort of stalled the last few weeks. In part because I focused all my attention on the Enterprise model, and also in part because I got off the path and lost my way and I'm still trying to find my way back to that path.
